At-Home UPSIT - Diagnostic Smell Test
At-Home UPSIT - Diagnostic Smell Test

The University of Pennsylvania Smell Identification Test (UPSIT) is a standardized, objective and quantitative test of olfactory function. The UPSIT has become the 'gold standard' in olfactory testing. The test includes 40 odors that are microencapsulated on 4 booklet pads. Â
We have created an online results forum so you can perform this test at home. Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an email from GetSMELP with a link to our testing portal where you will select your answers to the 40 scratch-and-sniff questions in the booklets provided in the "Smell Identification Test" Envelope. Upon submission, you will receive your score immediately. If you did not receive a link to the test, please check your spam or junk folder or email info@GetSMELP.com.
You can utilize these results to track your progress and re-test every 12 weeks if needed as it may be difficult to quantify how much your smell or taste improves each day. And, depending on your results, you may want to seek further assistance from a medical professional, such as an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Physician.
